Harmonic Wealth

Harmanic_w Have you ever started to listen to someone speak and knew right away that you just HAD to hear more? Well, that’s exactly what happened to me a few months ago when listened to a podcast featuring an interview with James Arthur Ray. It was so powerful that I immediately purchased his book, Harmonic Wealth, which I downloaded on my iPod!

It seems you can’t turn on the TV or go on the Internet without seeing or reading something about James Arthur Ray. And no wonder: his new book is great. I so enjoyed the information! This is a must-have for your library.

In Harmonic Wealth, he encourages you to get real and get creative about how to attain your goals, and then walks you step-by-step through the action plan you need to develop to create "true wealth" in your life. His advice: Stop playing it safe. Stop living in fear. Start living in harmony right now, and know that everything you want is within your reach.

Here's what he talks about in his book

Why balance is bogus, and why you don't want anything to do with it;

  • How to attract a soulmate who truly loves you for who you are;
  • Why your current bank account isn't who you are, but who you were;
  • How to maximize your health and energy and amplify your physical strength;
  • Why all goals are spiritual - from material wealth to mind-blowing sex;
  • How to vanquish the fears that have kept you stuck.

Here's the link for the book - just click here.

A Note To The Sugar-Sensitive

Flaxmeal Being sensitive to sugar means being ever-vigilant. For sugar-sensitive people, even eating a piece of fruit can throw the body's functions off!

If you're one of those people, here’s a tip that will help you stay balanced. Try flax meal and cinnamon with your fruit, because it can help slow the release of sugar into your bloodstream. Just stir several heaping tablespoons of freshly ground flax seed into fresh raw juices, or sprinkle some over fruit smoothies. Add 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon two or three times daily.

The Fat That Can Make You Thin

Ijustfou Here’s some good advice by Bruce Fife, MD, from his book, The Fat That Can Make You Thin:

Research has shown that those who get an adequate amount of fat in their diet generally eat less than those who try to reduce fat intake. The less you eat, the fewer calories you consume. Getting an adequate amount of fat in the diet is essential for effective and permanent weight loss. When people become hungry soon after a meal, they tend to overeat at the next. One of the reasons why fat is necessary for successful weight loss is that it satisfies hunger, helps in reducing appetite and lowering total food consumption. Fat slows down the emptying of the stomach, so that you feel full longer. When you are less hungry during the day, you will cut down on snacks and eat less at mealtime. As a result, you consume fewer calories. Even though fat contains more calories than either protein or carbohydrates, its effect on curbing appetite more than makes up for the extra calories it contains.
Stay away from FAT-FREE on the label:
Fat-free does not mean healthy. When you see fat-free on the label, be assured that the company is trying to deceive you, so don't buy it. Most fat-free products are simply loaded with unbelievable amounts of sugar and chemicals.

12 Steps To A New You

Life_force_3 I just finished reading Brian Clement's new book, Life Force: Superior Health and Longevity. If you’re looking for inspiration on the road to a new, healthier you, print out the list below and tape it to your bathroom mirror. Then read it every morning.

Here's his 12-step program for breaking food addictions, taken from Life Force, Chapter 9, Page 132.

We admit that we are powerless in the face of our food addictions - that our life has become unhealthy and unmanageable as a result, and we must make a change.

  1. We choose to believe that a Power greater than ourselves can help to restore our health and our ability to manage and control our food addictions.
  2. We make a decision to turn our will, our trust, over to the care of this Higher Power, as we understand it.
  3. We agree to undertake a searching and fearless moral inventory of the Truth about ourselves in relation to our food dependencies and beliefs.
  4. We confess to the Higher Power, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our cravings and weaknesses.
  5. We are entirely ready to remove all of these defects from our lives.
  6. We humbly ask the Higher Power to help us to remove our shortcomings.
  7. We have made a list of all persons we have harmed as a result of our weakness, and we are willing to make amends to them all, including ourselves.
  8. We have made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would inure them or others.
  9. We continue to take a personal inventory, and when we are weak or wrong, will promptly admit it and seek the support of others.
  10. We seek through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understand God or a Higher Power, and we seek to tap into our own power to carry out our desire to control our compulsions.
  11. Having a spiritual awakening or a more enlightened worldview as the result of undertaking these steps, we try to carry this message to others and to practise these principles in all our ways of being, both with ourselves and others.

Fresh juices are the internal baths of health and youth

"Dr Paavo Airola"

Juicer_after3_2 I like to start out my day with a cleansing green drink because of all the alkaline minerals found in leafy greens. When you wake up you literally have been fasting for 8-10 hours so i like to flush out my system with hight water content fruits, a green smoothie, or a green juice.

Magic Morning!

  • 5 stick celery
  • 1-inch cucumber
  • 2 apples
  • juice of one lemon
  • 2 cups of greens (spinach-kale)
  • 1 cup of sunflower sprouts ( optional)
  • 1 teaspoon chlorella pwd

Juice the celery, cucumber, apples, greens and lemon. Place the chlorella into the blender, add the juice and blend until smooth.

If you don’t already have a juicer at home click here

Healing Cancer From the Inside Out

Healing_cancer I highly recommend Healing Cancer From the Inside Out, a video by Mike Anderson. It’s extremely well done. It's an eye-opening and inspiring documentary about the true effectiveness of conventional medical "treatment" for many cancers. This film has good explanations of how many plant-based diets are amazingly more effective for cancer recovery and prevention than the average American realizes.

Supporting the power of our immune systems to heal from the "inside out" is the key component to healing our bodies. This film is so easy-to-understand.

Featured in Mike Anderson's documentary are plant-based diet expert and nutritional biochemist T. Colin Campbell and his groundbreaking book, The China Study; Brian Clement and The Hippocrates Institute;  Brenda Cobb and Living Foods Institute; Mirea Ellis and The Kushi Institute; Charlotte Gerson and the Gerson Institute; Dr. Matt Lederman of Transition to Health, Inc.; Dr. Thomas Lodi of An Oasis of Healing; Dr. John A. McDougall and his Health and Medical Center; and many more.

I ordered many copies of the Video and am lending them out, or giving them as gifts.

This DVD is a lifesaver! Why not get an extra copy yourself and donate it to your local library or church to help get the word out? The price of the video is only $4.95 US. You can order a copy at Hippocrates Health Institute: http://store.hippocratesinst.org/

Dandelion Salad

Dandelion_3 Dandelion is a blood purifier, meaning that it aids in the process of filtering and straining wastes from the bloodstream. It also can be used to help clear the body of stored negative emotions, such as anger and fear, that can be stored in the liver and kidneys. Dandelion is also an excellent herb for weight loss, as the leaves are diuretic and the root improves fat matabolism.

Raspberry Dressing
2 cups raspberries
4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
