Have you thought much about your liver? Here's a quick way to assess whether you're a candidate for a liver flush..
Pale Stools
Digestive complaints
Pain in the right side
Depressed appetite
Loss of energy
PMS
Emotional Excess
Allergies
Chemical sensitivities
Poor tolerance of fatty foods
Constipation
Skin Problems
So, if you figure that you have several of these symptoms, a quick and gentle flush may be in order. Here's my recipe...
AM Liver Cleanse!
I would recommend doing this over the weekend, and in the morning 1 hour before breakfast.
- 1 large grapefruit
- 2 lemons
- 1 ½ cup of filtered water
- 1 tablespoons of cold pressed flax oil
- 1 teaspoon of acidophilus (2 capsules)
- 1 clove of fresh garlic
- 1 inches of fresh root ginger
Optional: a dash of cayenne pepper!
Squeeze the juice of the grapefruit and lemon into a blender
Next, grate the ginger, and then using a garlic press, squeeze this into the juice
Now add the water, oil and acidophilus powder and blend for 30 seconds
Add more ginger/garlic to taste.
This juice contains all of the most potent liver cleansing ingredients, and gives your liver a gentle flush. (However, you may not want to go on a day-long hike after starting the cleanse).
