The Happiest people are those who discover that what they should be doing and what they are doing are the same things.
-Marci & David Kaplan
Last night I began the workshop on Conquer Your Sugar Addiction in 12 days with this quote. It sums up my feelings about having a happy life so well, because I couldn't imagine doing anything else in life. Yet too many people are trapped doing what they have to do instead of what they want to do! Life is way too short to spend doing something that prevents us from growing and that doesn't bring us lots of fulfillment. I believe that this is the cause of many addictions.
A great book that discusses just this topic is Grace Cirocco's "Take The Step The Bridge will be There" . She talks about how to get across that bridge and focus on what you truly desire in life.
Here's a great excerpt you can read from Grace's book: Heal the past.
One more thing to remember: Being comfortable doesn't allow us to grow.
So do one thing Today that will get you out of your comfort zone. Then let me know what you did and how it felt. I always love getting your feedback!
Nancy,
I enjoyed the session on Conquering Your Sugar Addiction and the follow up tele-conference on Monday. What a wonderful support mecanism. Congratulations on the initiative.

P.S. By the way, the cleanse is going well.
