Almond Milk
- 1 cup raw almond, soaked overnight & rinsed
- 4 cups water
- 2 dates
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract or fresh vanilla pod
Combine in blender and blend. Strain through cheesecloth, squeezing out the milk. This milk will keep for 4 days in the refrigerator. The almond milk you find in stores has been pasteurized, destroying vital nutrients. It takes only a few minutes to make your own.
Hi Nancy I just watched your smoothie and almond milk video. It was great. Bev x

Hi Nancy,
As you know I have been preparing your Love Smoothie for the past week for my husband and myself. We love it! I can see that by adding the protein powder, one gets more milage.
Also I have never attempted almond milk before and after watching your video I feel confident to attempt it!. One question, how long will almond milk last in the fridge?? or do you need to drink it all in one go?
thanks for all your support and wonderful ideas....... looking forward to a long and happy relationship
