I talk a lot about detoxification. As you add more cleansing foods into your diet you will find in the long term that you feel so much better - both physically and emotionally.
However, I do need to address the fact that, quite often, in the short term, you may experience a healing crisis.
Your body didn’t become toxic overnight, and the process of detoxification doesn’t happen immediately, or without some uncomfortable side effects as your body rids itself of the toxins that have been storing there for years.
One of the biggest misconceptions people face with the ‘healing crisis’ is the belief that they have caught some infection or that an old condition like acne has returned. In actuality, these symptoms are a sign that your body is finally purging itself of the last remnants of the toxins that created the disease or ailment in the first place.
The best way to get rid of these symptoms is to drink plenty of water, juices, and herbal teas to flush the toxins out of your system:
- Get plenty of rest and sleep
- Use an enema or COLONIC to provide relief
- Drink lots of water
- Meditation
- Acupuncture
- A massage
- Light exercise
- Eat light meals that are easy to digest such as fresh vegetables, and fruit – in moderation
- Exfoliate the skin with a friction glove ( DRY SKIN BRUSH)
Your energy level will soar when you cleanse. Remember that digestion requires huge amounts of energy. If you are eating the foods that require the least amount of energy to digest, but supply a great deal of energy.
It will take a little time to start feeling better, but if you continue to eat healthy foods, drink plenty of water and work on the emotional, spiritual and mental aspects of your life, your reward will be vibrant health and boundless energy. Knowledge is power, and that power is in your hands!
