I was pressed for time today! I made myself a quick smoothie with sunflower sprouts apple and avocado – it’s delicious and so easy to make (and yummy too).
Your 2-minute meal
- 1 ½ cups fresh sunflower sprouts
- 1 apple
- ½ avocado
- 2 cups of water (approximately)
Blend sunflower sprouts, apple and the avocado until smooth.
Sprouts are considered the most balanced of all of sources of essential amino acids, and they are a perfect source of complete protein.
Sunflower seeds are an excellent addition to our diets, eaten on their own or as a snack ~can be added as garnishes or as additions for salads, soups and smoothies for great texture.
